With two days left until the Galaxy Note 8 is officially released (September 15), Samsung is sending a software update to the handset – at least in Europe. According to the screenshot seen on the right (in Dutch), the very first Note 8 update weighs in at 571 MB, and doesn’t change the Android version of the phone – it’s still 7.1.1 Nougat. The update brings overall performance enhancements, improvements related to wireless charging, and improved camera stability.
